Use :-
Used for the determination of viscosity of the bitumen specimen.

Description :-
Unit consists of oil tube (as per specified / required dimensions and made of corrosion resistant metal) , water bath and stirring apparatus and digital temp. Controller cum indicator, with PT100 sensor for accurate measurement of temperature, timing device (digital timer circuit), and graduated glass receiver.

Types :- Kinematic viscosity bath (As per IS: 1206 (part III) - 1976)
For Bitumen Emulsion for Roads (Anionic type): the instrument is basically used to cover the standard of physical & chemical requirements of bitumen emulsion (Anionic type) for roads. The apparatus consists of oil tubes made entirely of brass material As per laid down dimension .the oil tube is housed in cemme in a cylindrical SS bath with Electrical heating coil & Stirring arrangement & timer .A receiver flask of 60ml is kept at bottom just below Drain of oil tube .a sprit level is given along with the apparatus to maintain the perfect level of whole instrument .the instrument is mounted on a powder coated CRCA platform for easy accessibility .By following the test procedure laid down in above is standard gives perfect result .For measuring viscosity by say bolt furol method.
